Christophe Verboomen
Christophe Verboomen is the Head of Regulatory Affairs at Invest Europe, the Brussels-based association representing Europe’s private equity industry, including private equity, venture capital and infrastructure. In this capacity, he leads the organisation’s work on regulatory and policy issues at the European level, ensuring that the voice of private capital is heard in debates shaping the future of finance and investment. Christophe joined Invest Europe in 2014. He has built his career at the intersection of regulatory policy, asset management, and private investment, focusing on how European and international rules affect investors, fund managers, and the broader economy.
His expertise spans a wide range of legislative frameworks, including the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), the European Long-Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) regime, and the Savings & Investments Union project.
