Alessandro Malchiodi
Alessandro Malchiodi is the deputy head of the Asset Management unit in the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA) of the European Commission. He has been working at the European Commission since 2013, with prior roles as policy officer in bank crisis management and as deputy head of the Economic Analysis and Evaluation unit also in DG FISMA.
Before joining the European Commission, Alessandro worked as an assistant policy analyst at the RAND Corporation in the United States. He holds a Ph.D. in policy analysis from the RAND School of Public Policy, and an M.Sc. in economics and social sciences and a B.A. in public administration from Bocconi University.
